We all receive a daily dose of gift/s. It might be a cliche, but it is called present. Your gift is what you make out of the present. Today, I have embarked on opening the gift of each and everyone who happen to have the gift, but refuse to open or worse to acknowledge the gift.
However, there is more to the gift of present. Everyone has it yet this is an elusive thing to define or even describe. It is a multi-faceted idea and comes in various forms. This can likened to our idea of force. We have been talking about force but we cannot see it. Nevertheless, once it acts upon us we know it is there. Allow me therefore to share with you the manifestations and essence of giftedness.Principles of giftedness:
- It involves recognition of what we are truly passionate of.
- It requires support from parents.
- It is developed through creativity, patience and commitment.
- It needs reinforcement from people in the society.
- It transcends age, nationality and time.
