your pledge (PSHS Scholar's Pledge)

You are a Philippine Science High School scholar committed to the pursuit of excellence, foremost in your academic life and later, in your service to the Filipino people; to whom you owe your gift of education and to whose uplift you must dedicate your God-given talents and acquired expertise in science and technology. You envision yourself as creative, inventive and innovative; taking the lead in initiating positive changes that will enrich your school, your community and the Philippine society. As a scholar, you embody the scientific spirit: inquisitive, logical, analytical and critical but also equally imbued w/ the humanist values of justice, compassion, prudence, integrity and humility. You are committed to the perpetuation of the human race and the preservation of the universe that is its home. You finally envision yourself as actively professing and operationalizing love of God, country, others and self in all your goals, activities and achievements.
