Who is exploited?

Dear Children of God,

Before you even continue reading the succeeding statements you better watch this video first:

It is sad to think that we are all pointing exploitation to each other. There are pro-Willie and anti-Willie. The truth is both parties are exploiting each other. The child's parents trained the child in the first place to gyrate like a macho dancer. The host tried to bank on contestant's need for fast money. It is a cliche that it takes two to tango therefore no one is to be blamed.

Now how about the viewers, didn't they "allow" such exploitation to take place? Partly they did because they were amused and entertained. Nobody cried foul and nobody dared to halt the exploitation as it unfolds in front of them.

How about the production team? Aren't they aware of basic human rights of a child if the host nor the parents fail to observe them? They were also a part of exploitation.

From the very beginning, the network knows the nature of the show yet they allowed it. Needless to say, the show is earning therefore it is being aired. TV viewers (majority if not all) buy this kind of show and in the process become part of exploitation. Someone can always say, "I don't watch this type of show anyway." Well and good if you don't but we are bit and parcel of exploitation. We are all one way or the other are "exploited" whether we watch the show or not.

As long as there are people who are ill-informed or in dire need of money, they will always be prone to exploitation in all forms. Sometimes we don't have to watch TV to see exploitation. It is everywhere as long as we don't make a stand for the right.

I will cite for instance exploitations in Facebook..
1. posting pictures of others in uncompromising situation
2. number one becomes worse when their closest friends would like the picture
3. "mutilate" digitally the picture of friends to elicit laughter
4. posting rantings in our walls for everyone to read
5. tagging many people in one fb email
6. highlighting the weakness of others
7. sending several fb message at once
8. stalking people
9. giving false testimony

Exploitation will remain in our midst because of our indifference. It will remain that way if we won't make a collective stand against it. However this would require knowing one's rights or we will remain exploited.
